Decelle-Villa, a newcomer in Bourgogne

Olivier Decelle  was made famous in the wine world for building one of the most visible and appreciated brands of Roussillon wines, Mas Amiel and also for bringing back life to Chateau Jean Faure, the neighbour to Cheval Blanc in St Emilion.

Pierre-Jean Villa, is the man who helped develop les Vins de Vienne’s – a boutique rhône négociant- reputation around the world. He’s also a young but gifted winemaker in the northern Rhône.

These two passionate winemakers are now teaming up in Bourgogne, to produce wines from purchased grapes and from their own parcels from south to north of Bourgogne. They have purchased an abandonned cellar in Nuits Saint Georges and have just released their second vintage this spring.

High quality criterias are the basis of long-term partnerships  with the vintners they buy grapes from and with Pierre-jean at the wheel of the  cellar, one has the guarantee of clear, delicate, accessible yet  complex wines.  Soils are managed in organic or biodynamics.

Quantities available will be small, we’re talking boutique approach  and small plot selections. These wines are now available for Asia. On allocations.
